I currently offer individual lessons on the Flute and Piano.

I believe music lessons should be a fun, I enjoy including exercises and games to help build musicianship and confidence, particularly for younger beginners.

I teach from my home in Newton Abbot but my students come from all over South Devon including Teignmouth, Torquay and Dartmoor.  I aim to provide a comfortable and laid back atmosphere.  Feedback is given to parents regularly about what has been covered in the lessons but there is plenty of room for parents and siblings to sit in on lessons if they wish.

I use a variety of well established tuition books in my teaching along with my own arrangements of well known songs, I'm happy to take requests if there is a particular song a student wants to learn!

I currently accept pupils aged 6+ and both adults and beginners are welcome.  I cater for students who wish to take ABRSM grade exams but those who want to play just for fun are equally welcome!

Through teaching in small groups the aim is to provide affordable instrumental tuition to children aged 6-11, enabling as many children as possible to have to opportunity to learn a musical instrument.
